Why We Rebranded
Formerly Stop Antisemitism Colorado
Over the past two years, Stop Antisemitism Colorado has grown from an urgent response effort into a statewide movement — mobilizing Jewish Coloradans, educating candidates and lawmakers, shaping public narratives, building coalitions, and winning critical elections. As our impact expanded, so did the clarity of our mission.
Our name now reflects who we are today — and the long-term work we are building to shape Colorado's future.

Why Colorado Jewish Action Alliance
Colorado Jewish Action Alliance (COJAA) captures the essence of our organization today.
Action reflects our commitment to proactive political, civic, and electoral engagement — not just responding to antisemitism, but preventing it by shaping who holds power and how decisions are made.
Alliance reflects our work bringing people together — across the Jewish community and with allies throughout Colorado — to build a stronger, more unified voice.
Our new name reflects strength, purpose, and collaboration — the foundation of everything we do.
Why the Change Matters
Our new name better reflects the organization we’ve become:
-
Statewide leadership in the political arena
We educate candidates, brief legislators, and engage decision-makers to help shape a safer, more inclusive climate for Jews across Colorado. -
A trusted coalition-builder
We bring together Jews of all backgrounds and work alongside allies to amplify our collective impact. -
A growing center of Jewish civic power=
COJAA communicates this broader mission with clarity and purpose. It signals credibility, seriousness, and forward momentum — and positions us for long-term impact heading into the 2026 election cycle and beyond.
From electoral victories to community mobilization, our work now reaches far beyond our original rapid-response model.
What Isn't Changing
Our mission remains the same:
-
To confront antisemitism wherever it appears
-
To educate leaders and hold them accountable
-
To build political strength for Colorado’s Jewish community
-
To ensure that Jews in this state can live openly, safely, and proudly
What’s changing is that our name now reflects the full scope of what we do — and the future we are building together.
